Outset
One of my first completed games. While the actual game is not very good with lag spikes and a few other flaws, there are things I am proud of here.
Shaders
The shading in the overworld is made up of a black to white prerendered direct light. This is used to lerp between a texture for the lit area and a texture for the unlit area. Added on top of that is a colored indirect light.
Atmospheric Sounds
Sound effects in the overworld create quite an atmospheric feel. The simple yet detailed use of sound pulls the player into the world, as small as it is.
